COOKIE COLEMAN has delighted audiences across the country with her cabaret performances. Singing jazz standards in a timeless fashion, she has performed in nightclubs and theaters as well as with the renowned Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra. For 10 years, she also led a 12 piece orchestra, Club Lucky. With that group, she performed for Hillary Clinton and George Bush, opened for Aretha Franklin, and performed for hundreds of corporate and special events.
Cookie has released 4 cd’s to critical acclaim.
CYNTHIA JOHNSON is no stranger to the music business. She’s sung for U.S presidents and world-renowned producers, behind brand name products and onstage. Her first single recorded, Funky Town, was a huge success selling more than 20 million copies and was # 1 in over 28 countries around the world. After recording Funky Town, Cynthia went on to record three albums with Lipps Inc. during the early 80’s.
Cynthia has worked with Flyte Tyme Productions, Terry Lewis, Jimmy Jam, Paisley Park Studio, Brown Mark of Motown Records, Chico Debarge, Prince, Alexander O’ Neal, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Gaynor, Stacy Lattisaw, Jelly Bean Johnson, Herb Albert, Sounds of Blackness and many others.
PAT FREDERICK has been singing, writing and playing since the age of 11. As an artist for RCA Records and United Artists Records, he toured nationally releasing two successful albums, scoring a Billboard Top 50 single. He has appeared on TV, radio, concerts and showcases, and has performed on stage with a long list of notable artists including Bill Murray, Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, Jim Belushi, Jay Leno, Ray Charles, Glen Frey, Waylon Jennings, and more.
Pat has also performed on stage as a back up singer and vocalist for headliners including David Byrne, Kenny Loggins, Garrison Keilor, and Benny Anderson (of ABBA).
His awards include: Minnesota Music Award – “Best Violinist,” Minnesota Rock Hall of Fame, Minnesota Rock and Country Hall of Fame, and Minnesota Music Award – “Best Band.” He’s a cofounder of popular groups “The Daisy Dillman Band,” “Samoa,” “BleuViolin,” TC Jazz Voiceshop, and “Music Workshop for Kids.”
