Sadly for us, the time has come for Rossum to explore the musical possibilities in the “Jazz Capital of the World,” New York City. Help us send him off in style with these final performances by his celebrated quartet.
Kelly Rossum is one of the most fearlessly inventive musicians in a region teeming with new sounds. His recorded projects have redefined what is new in jazz, and his tireless dedication to outreach projects of all shapes and sizes make him an invaluable resource in the education world.
It is difficult to describe his style as anything but unique; combining the traditions of swing, bop and free jazz with the innovations of electronica, ambient and trance music.
