Possessing one of the freshest sounds in town, The New Congress are winners of City Pages’ 2008 BOTC “Best R&B Band.” The New Congress are also the winners of the 2006 Minnesota Music Awards for Best R&B Artist/Group and R&B Album for their release, “Everybody Gets Up,” and have been getting press and radio attention in New York and Los Angeles. And they’re just getting warmed up. Fresh off their CD Release Party and with the chops that only years of weekly gigging can hone, TNC is poised to hit the national stage in a big way.
