Vocalist Rhonda Laurie grew up in New York City, surrounded by the sounds of jazz and her several musical relatives. She is currently a very busy vocalist in the Metro area, and her voice is perfectly suited to the hot club style.
An exciting group with a unique sound, Sidewalk Cafe takes the 1930’s Gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli as a starting point and make it their own. The resulting music “transcends the genre and captures its original appeal and excitement…” -Jeremy Walker
