Paris Strother has been playing piano professionally since age 13, having started playing at age 2. After accepting a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Paris graduated with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2008. As a pianist, Paris has had the opportunity to perform with such artists as Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Lalah Hathaway, Philip Bailey, Steve Winwood and a host of others; and has done studio work for a myriad of jazz, soul, and hip-hop albums. She has performed not only across this country, but also in tours across Russia, Greece, and the Netherlands. Currently Paris resides in Los Angeles, where she works as a performer and composer, and serves as the Special Programs Coordinator for the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz.
