Start your New Year off the right way with the return of soul superstar, two-time Grammy nominee, Eric Roberson!
About Eric Roberson
Eric, or Erro as he’s commonly known, is widely considered the king of independent soul music, having sold more than 100,000 units of each of his solo releases.
Erro has penned songs for Jill Scott, Vivian Green (Emotional Rollercoaster), Musiq Soulchild (Previous Cats), Dwele (Hold On), 112, Carl Thomas, Will Downing and several others.
Expect some new and classic Erro material in his long-awaited return to Minnesota in more than two years!
Amazingly, Roberson has worked independently of the record industry for the last decade. His CDs are available only at concerts or small retail outlets, and some of them have been remixed and reissued by Roberson himself. Even with limited distribution, Eric’s last 4 recordings have each sold over 100,000 copies.
A tireless artist, Roberson plays 8-10 sold out concerts each month and is a guest vocalist on countless albums by other artists. The success of Eric Roberson’s activity outside the mainstream has made him a role model for other independent artists and has resulted in a career that continues to build momentum, completely on Roberson’s own terms.
What Other People Have Been Saying...
“The indie soulster and New Jersey native has virtually done the impossible: make a nice, comfortable living recording and performing R&B without the help of a major label, thanks mostly to a loyal, steady fanbase who buys his CDs, attends his shows and is ready and willing to follow the man anywhere.” – Houston Press
