About Lolo’s Ghost
James Loney has been writing music for over 30 years. From fronting House of Mirrors to his new side project Lolo’s Ghost, his journey has been filled with the usual ups and downs of the music business. From recording an album at Prince’s revered Paisley Park in the late ’80′s (which never saw the light of day) to having his “Book About Dreams” included in two different major motion pictures (Just Write with Jeremy Piven and Kirsten Dunst’s Lucky Town Blues). For the last three years he has been fronting his Midnight Troubadours, featuring such local luminaries as Robert Wilkinson, Curtiss A , Monty Lee Wilkes, Steve Dupuis, Terry Isachsen, Kirk Hall, and Paul McFarland.
Lolo’s Ghost is a collection of songs unlike anything Loney has done before. Understated and stark, these songs pull on the listener’s heartstrings while engaging the listener’s mind.
