Jarrod Lawson is blessed with a voice steeped in reverence for the great soul singers that have gone before him. Raised in a musical household, Jarrod often credits his father’s eclectic and exhaustive record collection as the reason for which his musical palate evolved in such a diverse fashion. Jarrod’s carefully crafted and intricate, genre-bending compositions, as well as his deft, thoughtful, spiritually laden lyrics, have brought him admiration and attention from international taste-makers all across the globe, many of whom consider Jarrod’s unique approach to be a breath of fresh air in a genre whose modern permutations have lost their depth.
Jarrod’s debut album, released in May of 2014, rocketed to the top of the UK Soul charts and garnered a medley of prestigious awards including SoulTracks ‘Album Of The Year’, London based Jazz FM’s ‘Soul Artist Of The Year’, and the runner up position for Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide ‘Album Of The Year’ Award for 2014. Jarrod has now shared the stage with international superstars such as Stevie Wonder, Marcus Miller, Take 6, Bilal, and Lalah Hathaway, to name a few.
Jesse Larson rose to fame via his appearance on the 12 season of The Voice, where he reached the finals on the strength of his blues-rock growl.
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Larson was raised on classic blues and rock, learning how to play guitar and sing at an early age. He regularly gigs in Minneapolis, usually with his eight-piece band MPLS, but in 2016 he received a big break at the age of 33 when Prince hired Larson to play guitar in the touring band for his protege Judith Hill. The gig ended when Prince died unexpectedly on April 21st, 2016. In the wake of this tragic news, Larson decided to audition for The Voice and, under the tutelage of Adam Levine, he went far on the show, ending the season in fourth place.
St Paul is a mainstay in the Minneapolis and international music scene. He is a member of “Minnesota’s First Family of Music.” St Paul has worked with everyone from Prince, The Time, The Family, George Benson, and D’Angelo to The Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton. He is currently in the studio with saxophonist Eric Leeds, working on their first record for their instrumental funk/fusion band called LP Music.
The Grammy-nominated vocalist, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist is known best as the lead singer and drummer for legendary R&B group Mint Condition. As such, he has crisscrossed the globe, touring with luminaries like Prince, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, and Alicia Keys.
The world knows Stokley’s enduring collaborations. His 2011 effort with Kelly Price, “Not My Daddy,” earned a Grammy nomination. The TV performances alongside Jimmy Fallon and Conan O’Brien and awards shows such as BET Honors and the AMAs. His film scores and catalogue of studio work, a veritable who’s who: Mariah Carey, Usher, Mary J. Blige, and Jill Scott.
