Hailing from Indiana, Jearlyn and Jevetta Steele grew up singing with their siblings Billy, JD and Fred in The Steele Children. Over time, the family moved to Minnesota, and these sisters sing together once again.

Jearlyn has a show on CBS Affiliate WCCO named Talkin’ Steele every Sunday night.  Jevetta, a touring performing and recording artist with musicians such as Prince, Mavis Staples, George Clinton, and The Sounds Of Blackness, was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance of “Calling You” in the musical Baghdad Café.
