About 2 Red
Cello, Voice, Effects and Loops…
Queen Drea and Michelle Kinney improvise dense layers of cello and vocal orchestrations, combining distinctly different musical influences and styles, to create a sound like no other. 2Red may come to the gig with a framework of original songs and favorite covers, but with their spontaneity, EVERY performance will be different!
David is a wonderer, wanderer with eclecticism. His work primarily deals with urban-esque styles, be it through portraiture, cityscapes or self-discoveries. His work has been at the Minnesota Arts Institute via the growing Minnstameet community. You can see also catch his work on several promotional ads from the Free Range Music Co-op. David started his photographic journey unintentionally. Finding simple joy in making silly videos or performing his spoken words through the Youtube medium, David found that freezing time through the lens of his camera is what his heart has always yearned for. You can find David currently working on the #ProjectGifted series (via Instagram @DLG_Imags), showcasing people of wide range of talent and skill.
About Moors Blackmon
Moors Blackmon is here to take the groove trio into the next century with acid jazz flavors. This group melds funk-based grooves with exotic keyboard textures to create highly listenable dance music.
The music, described as psychedelectric fazz, draws inspiration from artists and bands such as Herbie Hancock, Sun Ra, Parliament Funkadelic, and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. Moors Blackmon is an intergalactic vessel and with the crew of Strange, Brewington and Martinneau, its mission is to travel through space and time expand the mind of every civilization it encounters with its substantial sonic battery.
Dameun Strange – keytar, synthesizers, keys, vocals
Kahlil Brewington – drums
Antoine Martinneau – bass
