Artist Wine Lunch with Ruben Studdard and Cave de Lugny
Join us Tuesday, April 8th at noon for our next Artist Wine Lunch with honored friend, Ruben Studdard, vocalist and Cave de Lugny, Macon-Lugny, Burgundy winery. For our April wine lunch, Chef Derik Moran and Pastry Chef Katie Elsing have created a unique menu inspired by the artist and the winery. $39 (gratuity + tax incl.) will bring our 20 guests a three course menu paired by our Sommelier and GM Martina Priadka with three wines from Cave de Lugny, a dessert truffle with Peace Coffee and a signed CD from Ruben. Join us for this next opportunity to dine in our relaxed and informative food and wine pairing lunch.
Crowned 2003’s “American Idol” after pulling in 24 million viewer votes, Ruben Studdard followed his Idol success with a string of gold and platinum records, top ten albums and R&B and pop singles. His latest project is filled with some of the most romantic songs Studdard has ever recorded, including a duet with Lalah Hathaway on the Stevie Wonder gem, “With You I’m Born Again” and the Luther Vandross classic, “If This World Were Mine”.
This Artist Wine Lunch begins with a reception style course with passed canapés from Chef Derik Moran and Cave de Lugny “Les Charmes” a Chardonnay. A trio of canapés and this exceptional wine will set the festive tone and awaken guests’ palates.
After the reception, guests will be seated with our honored guests, Ruben Studdard and a representative for Cave de Lugny the next two courses. Each course will be paired with a different wine from Cave de Lugny by Sommelier Martina.
This lunch will end with a sweet truffle created by our Pastry Chef Katie Elsing, and a robust cup of Peace Coffee to enliven guests for the rest of their day.
