Graphic Design Internship
The Design Intern will be responsible for creating posters, flyers, postcards, brochures, apparel and other materials as requested by the Marketing team. Design interns will also have the opportunity to work on a various branding projects for the Dakota.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a necessary. Personal laptop required. Familiarity with Microsoft applications preferred. Mac and PC experience is a plus. The Design Internship will average 10 to 20 hours per week over the course of the internship.
Design Interns will have completed a sizable portfolio of professional work by the end of their internship. Interns will gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Your work will represent a nationally renowned music venue and will be widely distributed. Dakota Interns are eligible for a 50% discount on food and beverages for up to two people over the course of their internship. Staff lunch is available for interns working before 2 pm Monday through Friday. Interns are welcome to fill unsold seats or stand for any ticketed show free-of-charge once the performance has started. Cover-charge music is free-of-charge for interns. Interns may purchase tickets in advance at a 20% discount.
