Marketing Resources Internship
Research artists and identify genres
Research community organizations and gather contacts for marketing outreach
Advise marketing department on appropriate marketing actions based on research
Assist Marketing Manager with various projects
Attend marketing staff meetings
Distribute marketing materials throughout the community
Assist with content proofing for monthly calendars, weekly newsletters, menus, web content and marketing materials
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a necessary. Personal laptop required. Familiarity with Microsoft applications preferred. Mac and PC experience is a plus. The Design Internship will average 10 to 20 hours per week over the course of the internship.
Interns will gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Dakota Interns are eligible for a 50% discount on food and beverages for up to two people over the course of their internship. Staff lunch is available for interns working before 2 pm Monday through Friday. Interns are welcome to fill unsold seats or stand for any ticketed show free-of-charge once the performance has started. Cover-charge music is free-of-charge for interns. Interns may purchase tickets in advance at a 20% discount.
