The Dakota Wine List, as you may notice, is an American list. The reasons for this are simple. First, we are an American restaurant, specializing in new American cuisine .... specifically "modern Midwestern cuisine." Secondly, American wine producers now offer such breadth that it is no longer necessary to go to Italy for a great Pinot Grigio, or to the Rhone for Viognier or Movedre, or Alsace for dry Riesling. And, perhaps most importantly, we feel that these wines best complement our food.

If you have suggestions of comments, let us know. We're always interested in what our customers and others have to say. At the very least, we will respond. We may even make a change.
