Artist Wine Lunch with vocalist Janis Siegel and Dusted Valley

Join us Tuesday, March 4th at noon for a one hour Artist Wine Lunch with honored friends, Janis Siegel, vocalist and Chad Johnson, winemaker, Dusted Valley Vintners. Once again for our March wine lunch, Chef Derik Moran and Pastry Chef Katie Elsing have created a unique menu inspired by the artist and the winery. $39 (gratuity + tax incl.) will bring guests a three course menu paired by our Sommelier and GM Martina Priadka with three wines from Dusted Valley, a dessert truffle, and a signed CD from Janis. Join us for this next opportunity to dine in our relaxed and informative food and wine pairing encounter.

Over the past three decades, the voice of Janis Siegel a nine-time Grammy winner and a seventeen-time Grammy nominee has been an undeniable force in The Manhattan Transfer’s diverse musical catalog. Alongside her career as a member of this 32-year musical institution, Siegel has also sustained a solo career that has spawned more than a half dozen solo albums and numerous collaborative projects, amassed an international fan base and garnered critical praise.

This Artist Wine Lunch will begin with a reception style course with passed canapés from Chef Derik Moran and the first wine selection, the Dusted Valley Ramblin’ Rosé. A trio of canapés and this wine will set a festive tone and awaken guests’ palates.

After the reception, guests will be seated with our honored guests, Janis Siegel and the esteemed Chad Johnson from Dusted Valley for the next courses. With the second course, diners will sample the Dusted Valley Stained Tooth Syrah 2011 known for its extraordinary fruit with a course to match. For the third course, guests will try the Dusted Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010. This substantial wine has an inviting nose, bold tannins and a finish that lingers pleasantly and will be served alongside the main course from Chef Derik Moran.

This lunch will end with a sweet truffle created by our Pastry Chef Katie Elsing, and a robust hot cup of Peace Coffee to enliven guests for the rest of their day.
