Nov 26 – 27 at 7pm $75-65-45 | click here for tickets

Multiple Grammy-winning rock legend Ronnie Spector helped define an entire era of pop music.  Her style and sound influenced artists from Joey Ramone and Bruce Springsteen to Amy Winehouse, and her beauty knocked Keith Richards for a loop.

As the lead singer of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Ronettes, she pioneered a female daringness and performance style that did not previously exist – with their sexually-charged persona, The Ronettes were the first women in rock to do for boys in the audience what Elvis did for girls.   The Ronettes, scoring hit after hit, caused a hysteria to match that surrounding Elvis Presley or The Beatles. Ronnie has retained the voice, class and passion of the early recordings, securing her legendary status as one of the great voices of rock music.

kakiKAKI KING
Feb 19 at 7pm $42-35 | click here for tickets

“In her near-13-year career that’s seen six studio albums and a Golden-Globe nomination for best original score, King has earned critical acclaim for the way she combines unusual tunings, complex fingerstyle picking, and slap bass techniques to create soundscapes that range from instrumental acoustic work to high-voltage rock songs. Now, she’s using her guitar in an entirely new way: as a projection screen.” –The Atlantic

Provocative and moving, surprising and beautiful, “The Neck Is A Bridge To The Body” is Kaki King at her visionary best: deconstructing and redefining the role of solo instrumental artist though virtuoso technique, insatiable imagination, and boundless humanity. This groundbreaking new multi-media performance uses projection mapping to present the guitar as an ontological tabula rasa in a creation myth unlike any other, where luminous visions of genesis and death, textures and skins, are cast onto an Ovation Adamas 1581-KK Kaki King Signature 6-String Acoustic guitar customized specifically for this production.

snSONNY KNIGHT AND THE LAKERS
Dec 16 – 17 at 7 & 9pm | $25-20 – click here for tickets

Sonny Knight and the Lakers exist in the afterglow that soul luminaries like Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin created with their raucous, kinetic, and supreme live performances. Sonny Knight and the Lakers Do It Live, from the eponymous group, is a loving return to the height of live rhythm and blues, with Knight and his band perfectly capturing the uproarious vibe and rebellious musicianship of an era long gone in their first live album release.  They are, hands down, one of THE BEST local bands on the scene.
