Debbie Duncan, the Twin Cities First Lady of Song, is an internationally known local legend. Ever since she first came to Minneapolis to sing in the house band at Rupert’s Nightclub, she has consistently captivated us with her instrument’s beauty and elegance. We are blessed to have her world class talent right in our own backyard, where we can enjoy and appreciate it whenever we are lucky enough to catch her in performance.
With this in mind, we are ecstatic that Debbie is bringing her precious gift full circle. That is, she is celebrating her 1993 live recording, Debbie Duncan – Live at the Dakota, which was taped at Minneapolis’ iconic Dakota Jazz Club, with another live recording at the Dakota that she is appropriately calling, Full Circle. To help offset the cost of recording this concert, which is intended to be released as a live album, friends, fans, followers and all who appreciate what this awesome lady brings to the table when she opens her heart to entertain us, are being appealed to for support through gofundme. All donations are welcome, but there are designated pledge amounts you will want to consider that that come with super benefits, including the ultimate treat, a private concert with The Lady herself, (this is reserved for donors at the $1000.00 level).
The recording of Full Circle will take place at The Dakota on Thursday, August 24th. Make your contribution at https://www.gofundme.com/CFC-
See you at the Dakota.
