As a teenager, Bowie’s dream was to write musicals. Five decades later, more than 60 albums, 25 movies, and a hit Broadway musical in Lazarus, his impact on music and culture is irrefutable. Described by Rolling Stone as “the greatest rock star to ever fall to this or any other world,” David Bowie blazed a trail in music, fashion, art, and most of all self-expression. Starring dynamic and versatile Twin Cities vocal talent Julius Collins, We Can Be Heroes will dazzle with inspired fashion and some of Bowie’s greatest works, including, “Let’s Dance,” “Young Americans,” “Starman,” “Heroes,” and many more. The show features theater darlings Ann Michels and Erin Schwab, Jeremy Ylvisaker of The Suburbs, and Ryan Smith of Soul Asylum on guitar and Cory Eischen on Keyboards — all under the Music Direction of Prince’s longtime bandmate and drummer, Michael Bland.
