Update Regarding Covid Policy

11/15/2021

Effective immediately, Dakota will require either proof of a completed COVID-19 vaccination regimen OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test (which was taken 72 hours prior) for any person* to enter any events** held at Dakota. The COVID-19 vaccination card must show a completed regimen that concluded at least 14 days before the date of the event that the patron plans to attend. Dakota does NOT accept Antigen Rapid Test results or provide them to patrons without either of the above listed required proofs.

Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test:

  • Must be shown at time of entry into Dakota.
  • Must match the ticket holders ID.
  • May come in the form of:
    • A physical vaccination record card, a printed out file of vaccination record, a printed out negative test result, or a digital document on a mobile device (i.e. a photo image of a vaccination record card, a PDF file, a Word file, a Pages file, Docket app, Bindle app, Clear app, or other options).

Staff: This policy applies to all staff for all events and it also applies for entry into the building when there are not events.

Note: This update is unrelated to mask wearing. While recommended, masks are not currently required for fully vaccinated individuals by the State, County, or the City in privately-owned buildings. As of now, our policy is to leave the decision of whether to wear a mask to our fully vaccinated patrons. We will adhere to any formal mask mandate enacted by the State, County, or the City. We continue to require mask wearing for those who are unvaccinated as this is consistent with current recommendations for indoor spaces.

Children under 12 not vaccinated may show a negative COVID-19 test as outlined above.

*This policy applies to all people entering Dakota. This includes staff, performers, etc.
**This policy applies to any and all events held at Dakota. This includes shows that other venues and organizations present in Dakota’s space.
