Judy Collins
The grande dame of folk music has seen life from both sides now. At 87, she’s decided it’s time for the Sweet Judy Blue Eyes Farewell Tour. A master interpreter of folk and art songs, she’ll share stories about Leonard Cohen, Stephen Sondheim and others along with her music. Then you’ll have a better understanding of why Stephen Stills wrote “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” about her. A regular visitor to the Twin Cities (her son lived in St. Paul), Collins is offering three farewell shows with songs by Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Cohen, Sondheim and others.
