This guitar marvel plays his instrument like a piano, tapping or hammering the strings on the fretboard, one hand handling leads while the other does rhythm. His repertoire is as adventurous as his technique — interpretations of Bela Bartok, Katy Perry and jazz standards as well as blues originals. Jordan has not released an album since 2015 because he has been pursuing a master’s degree in music therapy at Arizona State University. He’ll perform solo. –JON BREAM
