Although he is only in his early forties, Grammy winner Michael Cleveland has a lifetime of accolades to his credit. Cleveland has been named Fiddle Player of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association an incredible twelve times. In 2018 Cleveland was inducted into the National Fiddler’s Hall of Fame. Hailing from both the Appalachian and Piedmont regions of North Carolina, the Steep Canyon Rangers have long held traditional bluegrass paramount. With the band’s last few albums, they have gained recognition from well beyond the world of bluegrass.
