Peter Himmelman
He used to be a regular performer in his hometown but it’s been four years. Himmelman, who has always been too bright to be confined to the music business, has branched out. He formed Big Muse, a company that helps organizations tap into people’s creativity, and wrote books about accessing creativity. His career has included forays into children’s music, soundtracks for TV shows and, of course, podcasts. This summer, it comes back to concerts when Himmelman’s unbridled creativity and unpredictability are on full display.

Devon Allman
This guitarist doesn’t sit still. He’s a man of many ensembles, including Allman Betts Band, Devon Allman’s Blues Summit, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Honeytribe, and Devon Allman & Donavon Frankenreiter’s Rollers. After last year’s “Blues Summit” collection with guests Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Robert Randolph and others, Allman released an ambient art-rock instrumental collection, “Nightvision,” in January. In his return to downtown Minneapolis, Allman promises to explore material from all of those aforementioned projects as well as the legendary Allman Brothers Band, which featured his father, Gregg, on lead vocals.
