Pull up to the table and tuck in your napkin—it’s a feast of Armstrong! Kick off your holidays with a Thanksgiving Eve night full of Louis Armstrong’s music. From “Dippermouth Blues” all the way to “What A Wonderful World,” the Southside Aces Big Five cover fifty years of Louis’ recordings. They’ll make sure to visit all his favorite food songs. How about “Struttin’ With Some Barbecue?” Or maybe “All That Meat And No Potatoes.” Don’t ask trumpeter Dan Eikmeier to sing “Cheesecake.” He just might do it!

Southside Aces perform traditional New Orleans jazz. Since their first gig on a flatbed truck in Apple Valley in August 2003, they’ve played weddings, festivals, clubs— “music furnished for all occasions.”

The Southside Aces Big Five is:
Dan Eikmeier-trumpet
Tony Balluff-clarinet
Rick Carlson-piano
Dave Michael-drums
Josh Granowski-string bass
