I Am In Love: Jane Monheit Sings Cole Porter

“Monheit continues to dazzle… intoxicating” – Downbeat

Jane Monheit, one of today’s most celebrated voices, honors Great American Songbook icon Cole Porter with a long-awaited tribute. With a stellar ensemble backing her and stylish new arrangements, Monheit brings new life to Porter’s classics. “Easy to Love”, “From This Moment On”, “Night and Day” and more. Here, she reimagines golden-era standards with passion, charm, and modern sophistication. A must-see for jazz lovers and fans of the Songbook, Monheit and Porter combine to create a glamorous celebration of wit, melody, and swing.

Jane Monheit sings jazz and adult contemporary music with a deep passion for the Great American Songbook. Additionally, she released many highly acclaimed solo albums, won countless awards and accolades, and toured internationally for over two decades. Here, Jane established herself as an extremely successful bandleader. Also, she has enjoyed the privilege of making music with some of the greatest musicians, arrangers, and producers in jazz.

By 22, Jane worked with legends such as Tommy Flanagan, Ron Carter, and Kenny Barron. Then, she recorded her first albums and toured the planet. Those projects led her to collaborate with jazz luminaries such as Terence Blanchard, Ivan Lins, John Pizzarelli, Christian McBride, and many more. Countless television appearances followed, including David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, CBS Sunday Morning, and Good Morning America. She also appeared on The Tonight Show, The View, and many popular international talk shows.

Monheit has continued to tour the world nearly nonstop, playing iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall and The Hollywood Bowl. Also, she has headlined nearly every legendary jazz club on the planet. These include, most notably, NY stalwarts the Village Vanguard and Birdland.

Recommended for fans of Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Tierney Sutton and Stacey Kent.
