Formed in 1977, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band are pioneers of the modern New Orleans brass band movement and are recognized worldwide as an unstoppable musical machine. Their name is synonymous with genre-bending romps and high-octane performances. The Zydeco Cha-Chas are one of the hottest active Zydeco bands. Bandleader Nathan Williams delivers a direct connection to Zydeco’s storied innovators, Clifton Chenier and Boozoo Chavis. Together for Mardi Gras Mambo, it’s a nonstop dance fest—a masterclass in blues, Cajun, New Orleans soul, zydeco, and R&B from two of Louisiana’s best.
