You know “At Last.” You’ve heard “Something’s Got a Hold on Me.” Let Kathleen Johnson and her amazing band take you deep into the Etta James catalog, celebrating this singular voice while resurrecting some of her forgotten gems!

One of the most vibrant voices in the area, Johnson’s bands Best Kept Secret and Greats Gone 2 Soon have packed clubs throughout Minnesota. She has worked with Billy McLaughlin, Keri Noble, Lorie Line, Malina Moye, Alexander O’Neal, and Prince, among others.

A new show featuring the music of Aretha Franklin! Based on actual duets (and some wishful ones) that inspired the Queen of Soul through her storied career. This show will include songs and stories with the men that crossed paths with Ms. Franklin. Featuring some of the best male vocalists in the Twin Cities, including Gevonee Ford and Lamont Keten – singing with Gwen Matthews as “diva Aretha,” and Yemi Love (Fri) and Rhonda Johnson (Sat) as “young Aretha.”
