Room3 blends tradition and experimentation as a jazz fusion wild card. They craft an imaginative, melodic and rhythmically sharp sound, mixing elements of contemporary jazz, prog rock, funk and more. Here, the collective operates out of Minneapolis most commonly as a five-piece. Room3 is Eli Awada on keyboards, Wormdove (aka Beck Anderson) on bass, and RAWTWHYLAH (aka Colin Mitchell) on drums. Also, Evan Espinoza Robles on percussion, and Mike Green on guitar. Moreover, Room3 has performed consistently at prestigious venues across the Twin Cities, from Dakota to the First Avenue Mainroom. Additionally, First Avenue recently selected them as one of its “Best New Bands of 2024.” Their debut album, Bill’s Garden, is out now.
