Talib Kweli is one of the most lyrically gifted, socially aware and politically insightful rappers working today. The Brooklyn-based MC has earned his stripes with over twenty years of recording and performing.

Kweli founded Javotti Media in 2011, which is self-defined as “a platform for independent thinkers and doers.” The company, named after his paternal grandmother, released his 2011 album, Gutter Rainbows. Kweli has set out to make Javotti Media into a media powerhouse that releases music, films and books.
